Yoga retreat




From 15 to 22 October 2022, experience the castle life, meet inspiring people and take care of yourself!


Imagine for a moment spending a week in the heart of Normandy, between the fields tinted by the autumn colours and the calm sea inviting you to rest ; a moment to reconnect with yourself, but also with others. Château coliving opens its doors to digital nomads seeking slowness, movement and sharing from October 15 to 22. A week of retreat to take the time you need to focus, on your work and on yourself. 


On the programme: at least 3 hours of yoga per day (for everybody), delicious shared meals, meditation, workshops, intuitive movement, cooking together, but also free time to work and enjoy your days! Here is a programme for the week (subject to change):

For this retreat, we have put together a unique programme to allow you to relax and fully appreciate these few days in Normandy! (the programme is subject to change)


Saturday, October 15 

  • 4pm – 6pm: Arrival of the Digital nomads in the late afternoon 
  • 7pm – 8:30pm: Opening circle to set our intention for the week 
  • 8:30pm-9:30pm: A great dinner made with love by Professional Chef and Vegan restaurant owner Rolando


Sunday, October 16 

  • 8:30am – 9:00am: Morning meditation and forest bath 
  • 9:15am – 10:45am: Dynamic yoga practice to wake the body and the mind up 
  • 11:30am – 1pm: Generous brunch to treat ourselves 
  • 1:30pm – 5:30pm: Wokshop and free time in the afternoon 
  • 6:00pm – 7:30pm: Yin yoga before dinner
  • 8pm – 9:00pm: A great dinner made with love by our friend Rolando
  • 9:30pm: Ecstatic dance 


Week days

  • 7:30am – 8am: Morning meditation and forest bath 
  • 8am – 9:30am: Dynamic yoga practice to wake the body and the mind up
  • 9:30am – 10:30 am: Healthy breakfast buffet
  • 9:30am – 12:30pm: coworking time!
  • 12:30pm – 1:30pm: healthy lunch 
  • 1:30pm – 5:30pm: coworking time or optional activities 
  • 6pm – 7:30pm: Yin yoga before dinner 
  • 8pm – 9pm: A great dinner made with love by our friend Rolando 
  • 9:30pm: activities and workshops


Saturday, October 22

  • 8:30am – 10am: Our last yoga practice 
  • 10am – 11:30am: Breakfast together and closing circle 
  • Departure for those who have to go ( we can suggest you direct trains from Carentan to Paris if needed ) – Option to stay and colive with us for the following weeks with a special discount of 10%. If so please indicate in the registration form below. 


Here are some activities we will share during the week (we’ll keep some secret for you to have the surprise: 

  • Hiking and breathwork: breathe in consciousness while being surrounded by nature and inspiring people
  • Workshop: visualisation & intention, business oriented
  • Intuitive movement & Ecstatic dance
  • Farmer’s market and cooking together for a potluck
  • Morning cold dip in the sea near the castle
  • Creation of a natural mandala
  • Cleaning of the beach 
  • Cacao ceremony 
  • Connection session


Here are some optional activities we can organize for you, on demand:

Inspired by sixteen years of gymnastics, contemporary dance and the spontaneity of improvisation, my teaching is guided by the breath. Like nature, through my yoga practices we seek to connect to our own rhythm and to that “right effort” that invites more fluidity in movement. I could sum up my classes as ” Sthira sukham asanam “, a concise definition of yoga postures in Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras poetically translated by Gerard Blitz as “the right effort”.to be firmly established in a happy space”. 

My yoga classes explore our connection to the earth, to our bodies and to ourselves, to movement from within as creative expression. We learn the postures and what they reveal, respecting tradition and culture while being grounded in the present.

In my opinion, Yoga allows us to inhabit our body a little more and to open up, to our heart and to the whole world. It is a real journey that begins on the mat with each practice, a meeting with oneself that connects us and develops a serene balance, both physically and mentally. Yoga is also a state of mind and a way of life I try to cultivate everyday.

My vision is to offer an experience that is both inspiring and full of simplicity, where the gesture carries us to a meditation in movement.

I have a real love for movement in all its forms. Yoga completes this passion with its culture, its wisdoms and its history rich in meaning, poetry and notable benefits for our whole Being that I wish to share through the practices. My classes are full of freedom in which we let our body express itself, and adjustments that develop our bodily intelligence. I teach mainly Hatha Flow, Vinyasa and Yin yoga, combining creativity, fluidity and “rooting”, a mix of dynamic sequences and postures held in harmony with our breath.  Practicing yoga means creating space within ourselves. It is learning, the postures but also everything that they reveal. It is to smile, to surpass yourself sometimes , to listen to yourself, always.

Jeanne & Katia will be facilitating your stay as well.
Katia is a digital nomad and the founder of Chateau Coliving whose super power is bringing amazing people together. One of these people is Jeanne, an event manager by day and Community wizard at the Castle, taking care of all the  trips, activities and other fun stuff at the chateau! They will combine their complementary qualities and skills to organise a retreat in their image: close to nature and people & full of joy and spontaneity :).
