From the UK by ferry
There are several very convenient ferry lines, closest one is to Cherbourg (40min drive), then Caen (1 hour drive) or Le Havre (2 hours drive)

Caen (not to be be mistaken with Cannes!) 1h away – direct flights from the south of France
Rennes 2 hours drive
Beauvais 3 hours drive – low cost international flights
Paris Orly or CDG – 3h and 30min drive – all international flights
