Not everyone knows it but our Founder Katia has extensive experience working with refugees and volunteering with different Organizations in Greece, Turkey and other places in Europe.
With the recent earthquakes in Syria and Turkey, many people reached out directly to Katia to ask for trusted institutions to help on the ground. We decided to gather those recommendations in one post to make it accessible to more people.

We understand it is easy to feel overwhelmed and helpless but we also believe that even if we cannot always volunteer on location, even the smallest gesture can make a difference.

You will find below a list of checked and recommended organizations, where you can donate, buy something from or propose to volunteer (volunteering can also be a coordination or research role that is not on the ground)

• A Kurdish organisation working in the very complicated regions of Afrin and Rojava. They have a shop so you can buy or gift someone a beautiful scarf with a meaning.
