Our “always faster, always more” society tends to make us forget but we are made to follow the seasons.
Summer is full of activity and projects, Autumn is our time to take stock and harvest, winter is for stillness, nesting, and reflection while spring is the perfect time to seed and reconnect.
Even if you are a sun chaser, one of the nomads who spend the winter in the southern parts of the world, we can only urge you not to miss out on the charm of the European spring.

EASING OUT OF HIBERNATION
At Chateau, we fully embrace the seasons. That is also why we will be closed this winter (mostly) and why we are so looking forward to welcoming our new coliving cohort from March 1st.
It will be a time to share our winter reflections and New Year’s intentions, and to help each other on new projects and ideas that will come to fruition in the summer.
This will be a special spring at Chateau Coliving as we will have our first group joining under our new minimum stay of 28 days. With all colivers staying for the same amount of time there will be no FOMO going through our “easing out of hibernation” suggested activities:
- weekly accountability check-in when we share what we aim to accomplish that week and where we might need support
- Gardening in the park- Getting our hands dirty and actually seeding will for sure seed new inspiration too!
- Our signature trips to Mont Saint Michel, Etretat, Honfleur, and other local gems without the herd of summer tourists
- Cold dips for better blood circulation…
- Cider tasting, for better cider-buying decision
- Our first bonfires of 2024!
- And our weekly yoga, games, skillshares, karaoke, hikes, family dinners…
- For those who love DIY and upcycling – we have tons of materials and tools for you to get creative!
And finally, if you are coming back to Chateau for a second, third, or fourth time, you are in for a few surprises. We are spending our “downtime” this winter executing a few renovation projects we have had planned for a while now. We cannot wait to show you what we’ve done, refreshed, and improved!
